This week marks "Breast Cancer Awareness Week" in New Zealand, and we at Clean for Good have the opportunity to honor of someone special. We have chosen to honor the grandmother of our founder.
Grandma was an incredible example of willpower and determination. She showed us what a person can achieve when they set their mind to it, overcoming adversity and emerging from the darkest times. For our founder, she is a role model as an entrepreneur and a person worthy of being honored with such an important cause.
Women facing breast cancer must fight with all their might, not only for themselves but also for their families. Often, they do so alone, without support, and in great pain. They are true warriors, just like Grandma was.
Today, we invite you to join this cause and make a donation in her honor. For all donations made in the next hour, XERO (an accounting software company) will match the contributions, doubling the impact of your generosity.
As a company, we are doing thinks quite different this year. Instead of hosting a morning team and a baking sale, we will be hosting a dinner party for all our workmates to celebrate all the amazing women in our lives. We also aim to raise awareness about breast cancer among our colleagues focusing on early diagnosis. Clean for Good will donate 10% of todays profit plus 10% of all the service booked by new clients this week.
Together, we can make a difference and provide the support that so many women need in their battle against breast cancer.
