Eko’s Pink Ribbon Breakfast 2024

My name is Kelly Potts and this May, along with my colleagues at eKo; Rach Negus and Maree Kennedy, we are holding a Pink Ribbon Breakfast Event to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation of New Zealand.
Our event will take place at our shop, eKo, on Monday May 27th. From 10am to around 1pm.

This cause is very close to our hearts, mid year of 2023 our beautiful manager at eKo, Joanna, was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. Over the past year she has undergone rigorous treatment of chemotherapy and radiation, she has recently returned home from Auckland to rest and recover. We want to raise funds to show our support to Joanna, and all other woman in NZ afflicted by breast cancer.  All proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Foundation of New Zealand.

On the day we will have pink themed drinks and muffins available for purchase. Raffle tickets can be purchased up until midday (27th May) and then will be drawn at 12:30 pm. You can also take a photo in our pink themed chair, and share it on social media to spread awareness. When we reach our goal of $1250, I, Kelly, will be chopping 35.5 cm of my hair off and donating it to be made into a wig for someone in need.

We really appreciate your generosity and support for our Pink Breakfast day.  

How can you show support?
•    Donate towards our cause; any amount of cash or online payment will be gratefully received (link to page on website)
 
•    Make a pink themed window for your shop, or put a few pink balloons up from the 20th to the 27th of May
 
•    Buy a ticket for our raffle held on the day. $2 for one ticket, $5 for three tickets?(COMING SOON)
 
•    Come down to eko, 66F Kerikeri Road, on May the 27th from 10-1pm, and attend our Pink Ribbon Event
 
         We will be selling pink drinks and pink muffins on the day, so come down an purchase a snack
         Sit in our pink chair and snap a photo to spread the message about our event
         Be there at midday to attend the hair chop, once the goal of $1250 is reached
         Attend the raffle draw at 12:30pm
