The Pink Ribbon Walk Club is an exclusive group of hosts committed to raising $1,250 or more to support the nine Kiwi women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer every day.

Every dollar raised helps fund breast cancer education, life-saving research and patient support. You can find out more about your impact here

There is no set amount that you must raise but remember that every dollar counts. No matter how small or large, your fundraising will help our mission to prevent New Zealanders from developing and dying from breast cancer and to support those with the disease.

Don't be afraid to ask your friends, family and colleagues to donate to your fundraiser. The number one reason people donate to charities is because they were asked! Remind them that every dollar raised goes towards helping fund breast cancer education, research and patient support.

Many workplaces will offer dollar matching, so chat with your boss and see if they will do this.

Share you fundraising page on social media – you can do this directly from your fundraising page.

Just scroll to the top of this page and click on the login button in the top right-hand corner. Once logged in, you will see an icon with your account’s name. Click on your name, and a drop-down menu will appear. Select Edit My Page.

Yes! Everyone who donates over $5 to your online fundraising page will automatically be emailed a donation receipt.

The timing is the same for both the Auckland and Christchurch events:

• 1.30pm - arrive at the venue for pre-event entertainment, including a DJ and giveaways from our event sponsors
• 1.45pm - mandatory health and safety briefing
• 2.00pm - walk starts

Yes! All of the routes are loops so you start and finish at the same place.

The walk starts at 2.00pm in both Auckland and Christchurch but we recommend arriving at about 1.30pm. All of our event sponsors are set up, playing games, running competitions and giving away treats to all the walkers. At 1.45pm there is a mandatory health & safety briefing for all walkers, followed by a warm up before everyone sets off at 2pm. All walkers start at the same time, regardless of the distance. When you finish the walk, there's a live DJ and food trucks if you want to hang out for a bit after.

• Raise $750 to go in the draw to win a $500 Stirling Sports voucher
• Raise $1,250 to join the Pink Ribbon Walk Club, get your VIP cap and extra treats for the day.

We do not recommend serving alcohol at Pink Ribbon events, as alcohol is a risk factor for breast and other cancers (you can check out our website for more information). If you do offer alcohol at your event, please offer plenty of non-alcoholic choices, too. Of course, alcohol should always be consumed responsibly.
