Tits & Tees in Auckland and Christchurch is a charity golf day that brings together businesses, partners and supporters to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.
Inspired by her mum Julie's breast cancer diagnosis, Sophie Jordan started the event in 2024, deciding to turn a deeply personal experience into meaningful action.
"In November 2022, my mum was diagnosed iwth breast cancer. A routine mammogram turned our world upside down overnight, but also saved her life.
We rallied together, navigating surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, and countless appointments as a family. While mum battled her diagnosis, we all felt its impact. Watching my dad try to process his emotions was a challenge. However, thanks to early detection, incredible doctors, and our amazing support network, we've come out the other side."
After two successful events in Christchurch, raising more than $100,000 -Sophie and Breast Cancer Foundation NZ are bringing Tits & Tees to Auckland for the first time.

Enter your team and join us at the beautiful Akarana in Auckland or the stunning Shirley Golf Club in Christchurch – you could even enter both! Limited to 30 teams at each event so get in quick. We'll stay in touch with you in the lead up to the event with all of the information you need.

Your entry fee helps cover the cost of the event but it's fundraising that helps make the biggest impact. Plus, we'll have a few treats along the way to say thanks!

Played in Ambrose format, this is a golf day where everyone can swing into the fun - the big hitters can save the day while the rest of the team enjoys the ride. Expect great company, on-course activations, refreshments throughout the day, and a clubhouse finish featuring prizes, auctions, and a few stories that may improve with every retelling. Perfect for a corporate day out that’s more fairway than formal.

What is Tits & Tees?
Tits & Tees is a charity golf day run by Breast Cancer Foundation NZ and Sophie Jordan, founder of Tits & Tees. Teams of four play 18 holes in an Ambrose (team scramble) format, followed by a social lunch or dinner with a silent auction and raffle. Every dollar raised helps fund breast cancer education, research and support for people affected by breast cancer.
When are the events in 2026?
Christchurch Tits & Tees: Sunday 8 November 2026 at Christchurch Golf Club, 45 Horseshoe Lake Road, Shirley, Christchurch 8061.
Auckland Tits & Tees: Thursday 12 November 2026 at Akarana Golf Club, 1388 Dominion Road, Mount Roskill, Auckland 1041.
Are there handicap restrictions/do I need a register handicap?
If you have an official Golf NZ handicap, please provide it during registration. If you don't have one, that's absolutely fine - players of all abilities are welcome to take part.
Is there an event schedule available?
A detailed event guide, including arrival and tee-off times, will be sent to all registered teams closer to the event. In the meantime, visit our Event Information page for an overview of how the day is expected to run. Please note that timings are subject to change
Do I need to be an experienced golfer?
Not at all! Players of every ability are welcome.
Are golf carts & trundlers available?
Yes, you can pre-book a golf cart during registration for an extra cost. Numbers are limited.
