Tribs in Pink

Pink Ribbon Walk 2026 - Auckland

The Auckland Tribunals Unit is taking on the Pink Ribbon Walk for the nine women diagnosed with breast cancer each day in New Zealand.

Our Tribunal Pink Ribbon Walk journey began in 2024, when a group of us came together to walk in support of our former Service Manager, Lucyanne Keenan, following her breast cancer diagnosis. What started as a show of support for a valued colleague quickly became something much bigger – an opportunity to raise awareness, honour those affected by breast cancer, and make a difference for others facing the same journey.

In 2025, a smaller group continued the tradition, keeping the momentum going and demonstrating that our commitment to the cause remained strong. Every step taken was a reminder that no one should face breast cancer alone.

This year, we're hoping to make our biggest impact yet by bringing together an even larger team from across Tribunals and the wider workplace. Whether you're walking in honour of a loved one, supporting a colleague, celebrating a survivor, remembering someone special, or simply wanting to contribute to a great cause, we'd love for you to join us.

The Pink Ribbon Walk is about more than just fundraising. It's about coming together as a community, showing support for those affected by breast cancer, and taking positive action to help fund research, education, and support services.

Let's make this year's walk our biggest and most memorable yet. Gather your colleagues, lace up your walking shoes, wear your pink with pride, and join us as we walk for hope, support, and a future where fewer people are affected by breast cancer.

Together, we can make every step count. 💗
