I'm taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walk in memory of my beautiful sister Yolanda and all women fighting breast cancer

This year, I’m taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walk once again to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, in memory of my beautiful sister Yolanda, who passed away in 2015 at just 53 after a long and painful battle with breast cancer. She was 11 years older than me and was not only my sister, but like a mother to me — she guided me, supported me and always put her family first. ❤️

Breast cancer is the most common cancer affecting Kiwi women, with 1 in 10 women diagnosed in their lifetime and around 650 women in Aotearoa losing their lives to the disease every year. I walk in Yola’s memory and for all the women and families affected by breast cancer. Your donation, no matter how small, helps fund life-saving education, patient support and vital research that can bring us closer to a future with zero deaths from breast cancer.
