I'm taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walks for the nine women diagnosed with breast cancer each day in New Zealand.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 10 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.

17 June 2025 will be a date forever etched in my mind, it was the day I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer. Since then I have been on a journey through Chemotherapy, a Mastectomy, Radiation Therapy, Oral Chemotherapy, more Blood tests than I care to count and I'm on the other side now (well almost)...there'll be ongoing check ups etc. I want to raise money for the Breast Cancer Foundation because their nurses have been an invaluable support throughout my journey.

That’s why I’m taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walk this year, to help change that.
