Pink Ribbon Walk 2025 - Auckland

I'm taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walks for the nine women diagnosed with breast cancer each day in New Zealand.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 9 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.

While these statistics are not nice to look at, Breast Cancer doesn't just happen to women, it happens to men & children.  Approximately 25 men a year are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in NZ alone!  Yes, I agree these numbers are not as high as in women but it's still a number and that's not ok.

That’s why I’m taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walk this year, to help change that.

I don't normally ask for donations when i do these walks as it's more about bringing awareness to the cause but this year, I'm asking, please donate to raise funds for life-saving education, life-changing patient support and ground-breaking medical research. And bring us closer to a day when there are zero deaths from breast cancer.

Welcome to my page y'all!!

This month, not only am I wearing pink every day (as always), doing the Pink Ribbon Walk on Sunday, 5th October but I'm aiming to beat my September steps by doing 130,000 steps for the month.  Wish me luck and if you believe in me..please kindly donate!  NZBCF would appreciate it as would all the fighters and survivors.  Thanks :)
