Pink Ribbon Breakfast

Sherryll Orrell, sister in-law to Lynnette, and step-mum to Tash, was taken too soon by breast cancer. After a long battle, she passed away in August of 2022. A huge hole was left in everyone's heart that knew Sherryll. She always lit up any room that she walked into, the life of the party.

We are hosting a pink ribbon breakfast with the support of Sherrylls' husband Dave Orrell, and her other sister in-law Lee Morris, along with all of her friends and family.

The pink ribbon breakfast will be held in Matakana in memory of Sherryll, this will be held on the 26th of May 2024 at 11am. This is to raise funds for breast cancer and to help others fighting this awful disease.

Baked goods, snacks, and drinks will be provided. We ask that you come dressed in pink! Funnily enough pink was Sherrylls' favourite colour too!

We are asking that a donation of $25 is donated to the fundraiser as a 'ticket' to our pink ribbon breakfast fund. This can be completed prior to, or at the event.

I'm hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast for the nine women diagnosed with breast cancer each day in New Zealand.Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 9 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.

That’s why I’m hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast this year, to help change that.
