In December I will be five years cancer free, after facing Triple Negative breast cancer, having 8 months of intensive chemotherapy and radiation, a double mastectomy and reconstruction. I am a survivor and thriver…and I want to hear more stories like mine.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 10 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.
That’s why I’m taking part in the Pink Ribbon Walk this year, to help change that.
