I'm hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast for the nine women diagnosed with breast cancer each day in New Zealand.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 9 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.

That’s why I’m hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast this year, to help change that.

Please donate to raise funds for life-saving education, life-changing patient support and ground-breaking medical research. And bring us closer to a day when there are zero deaths from breast cancer.

Yay for mammograms

Hi to all my friends this is a hard and a very emotional post, But I am posting it to bring awareness to all the women in my life for the importance of a mammogram.

Five  months  ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer it was a very  emotional few time  for both me and my immediate family lots of tears,  confusion and more tears have engulfed us

I was diagnosed with a stage 3 to 4 breast cancer tumour I needed a mastectomy.

My surgery was postponed as I ended up in hospital with Covid so when I finally had my masectomy I ended up in HDU , I had to stay in hospital between  5/8 days this is mainly because of my asthma and how my immunity is already compromised. After that I saw  Nurses every second day for another 3 weeks to make sure I’m revovered how I  should

This was my second ever mammogram my first was 2 years ago and was perfectly clear and luckily for me by going to them we have caught this one at a  semi early stage.

This is been a very emotional journey for myself  and leading up to this years breast cancer awareness I wanted to share an express how important it is to go for your mammograms.

One thing I have learnt from all this so far is the Love my have for my family my

has been absolutely amazing and supporting me I am truly blessed.

And I will KICK CANCERs BUTT
