GWA NZ Cares: Pink with Purpose!

Why We’re Fundraising
Every year, GWA’s Culture Council proudly recognises Pink Ribbon Month—a time to raise awareness of breast cancer and contribute vital funds to support those affected. This cause is deeply personal to us. Across GWA, we have many team members, colleagues, friends, and loved ones who have been impacted by breast cancer, whether currently facing it or having bravely faced it in the past.

We stand together to honour their strength, share our support, and help drive change.

In New Zealand, 3,500 Kiwis are diagnosed with breast cancer every year, and sadly, more than 650 will lose their lives to this disease. These numbers represent real people, real families, and real futures.

That’s why GWA has committed to raising funds for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, helping to support:
* Ground-breaking research led by New Zealand’s top scientists
* Education on breast health, regular screening, and early detection
* Free support services for patients and their families

How You Can Help
Please support us in our pledge to save lives and make a difference. Every donation—big or small—brings us closer to a future free from breast cancer. Together, we can help make zero deaths from breast cancer a reality.

Let’s show what GWA can do when we unite for a cause that truly matters.
