I'm hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast!
This month, I am fundraising for breast cancer awareness. In late 2023, my Mum battled the illness and is currently going through radiation treatment and its recovery process. Her strength and courage has inspired me to take action.
Breast cancer affects millions of women worldwide, and its impact extends far beyond the individuals diagnosed. It touches families, friends, and communities. In New Zealand alone, 1 woman every 3 hours will be diagnosed with breast cancer, and nearly 2 women per day will die from the disease.
That’s why I’ve decided to fundraise for the NZ Breast Cancer Foundation!
Every donation, no matter how small, helps fund vital research that can lead to better treatment options and, hopefully, a cure. It also provides support to those affected, offering a community and resources to navigate through their toughest times.
Please, join me in this fight. Together, we can honour my mum’s bravery and contribute to a future where breast cancer no longer poses a threat to the lives and well-being of our loved ones. My reason for hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast this year? My Mum!
