I'm hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast for the nine women diagnosed with breast cancer each day in New Zealand.
I would love something positive to come from this journey I’m on. I’d love to make a difference to my daughter’s life and help someone out there detect this horrible disease sooner and ultimately make a difference. The support we receive when we’re on this journey is incredible and it’s provided through fundraising. So it would be fabulous if you could help me raise money to keep spreading the love and support that the professionals in this space provide. It means everything when you cross over to the other side and they wrap their arms around you to help you navigate this strange new world.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 9 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.
That’s why I’m hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast this year, to help change that.
