Kelleigh's Pink Ladies

Paige Burkett and I are participating in the Pink Ribbon walk at the start of October to help support and raise awareness of Breast Cancer month. I would love for people to join us and become part of Kelleigh's Ladies for the walk. We are doing the 10km, but feel free to join us for the 5km as well. The more the merrier. 

If you are unable, we would love for you to donate to help those who are in need. 

Kelleigh passed away at the young age of 48 from stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that had spread across her body, leaving behind my beautiful best friend and her two sisters. Even though she wasn't given long to live, she fought for 10 years and got to see her girls grow before she didn't have any more fight left in her. Kelleigh was part of many medical trials in Auckland, Christchurch, and even Sydney to try and find something to extend her life. She not only wanted to find medication that worked for herself but for other women who were going through the same struggles and just wanted more time with their families. 

We are trying to continue Kelleigh's positive legacy to try and help as many people as possible and get everyone together to celebrate those we have lost and those who are currently battling cancer. This disease affects many people, not just in New Zealand, but all over the world, so the more awareness, the more we can help.
