Trimble is helping raise vital funds for breast cancer education, research and patient support.
Trimble New Zealand is organising a Lunch & Learn on Wednesday, 29th October for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Debra Leutenegger, Community Breast Nurse Educator from the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, will give a 30-minute talk, bringing resources and a breast model to share insights on prevention, early detection, and support.
We’ll also have a bake sale on the same day to raise funds for the Foundation. Pizza will be provided for attendees, and staff can contribute by baking or donating.
Note: Both events are open to Trimble employees only.
Every year, 3,500 Kiwis are diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 650 will die. By fundraising for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, we’re helping support:
-
Ground-breaking research projects by some of our country’s top researchers
-
Education about breast health, the importance of regular screening, and recognizing the signs and symptoms of breast cancer
-
Free support services for breast cancer patients and their families
Donate today to help make zero deaths from breast cancer a reality. If you’d like to get involved and bake something, you can reach out to Marie Pourcel directly.
Thanks!
Marie Pourcel, Trimble NZ
