Christchurch Hospital Sonographers are hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast for the nine women diagnosed with breast cancer each day in New Zealand.
Our team at Christchurch Hospital have decided to have a Pink Ribbon Breakfast on Thursday 23rd May 2024, in honour of the amazing work that the Breast Cancer Foundation do every day. We'll be celebrating the nurses and therapists who work with breast cancer patients, as well as the strong individuals who have to experience the journey through cancer treatment.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 9 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.
That’s why I’m hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast this year, to help change that.
