I’m helping raise vital funds for breast cancer education, research and patient support.
Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer-related deaths in women worldwide. In New Zealand, it contributes to approximately 600 deaths annually. Despite advancements in diagnosis, treatment, and the successful implementation of public health policies, long-term survival prediction studies based on New Zealand data remain limited. At Whitecliffe, we believe meaningful change begins with innovation, this is particularly relevant to use of AI in health research which is creating significant contribution to landscape of healthcare. One of the projects at our new Centre for Research is making bold strides to improve breast cancer outcomes through using data science, local New Zealand data, clinical experts and global collaboration.
In appreciation of need of research in field of breast cancer we are holding fund raising drive where 50% funds will go towards Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, and 50% towards breast cancer related research activities at Whitecliffe.
