I'm hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast for the nine women diagnosed with breast cancer each day in New Zealand.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 9 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.

That’s why I’m hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast this year, to help change that.

Please donate to raise funds for life-saving education, life-changing patient support and ground-breaking medical research. And bring us closer to a day when there are zero deaths from breast cancer.

Nikitas Story ❤️

Nikita was feeling scared and nervous, and put off getting a lump on her breast checked. She then discovered she was pregnant.

Her pregnancy aggravated the lump making it grow faster and causing Nikita more pain that it had previously. She made an appointment to get the lump checked and tested, and found she had breast cancer.

Nikita is a strong wahine and battled cancer from November 2022 to September 2023, all whilst being pregnant.

Nikita had surgery on 9 December 2022 and underwent chemo from February until May 2023. In June 2023 she welcomed a beautiful baby girl.

A month after giving birth Nikita started radiation which continued until September 2023, and she is now in remission.

Amongst all of this she continued to work, bought her first home, and is about to celebrate her daughters 1st birthday.

Nikita is a huge inspiration to us all, to never give up.
