Northland Pink Ribbon Ride 2024

Northland Pink Ribbon Ride

I’m helping raise vital funds for breast cancer education, research and patient support.

Every year 3,500 Kiwis are diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 650 will die.

By fundraising for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, I’m helping fund –

  1. Ground-breaking projects by some of our countries top researchers
  2. Education about breast health, the importance of regular screening and the signs and symptoms of breast cancer
  3. Free support services for breast cancer patients and their families

Donate today to help make zero deaths from breast cancer a reality.

My Updates

Massive Thanks to everyone, Here are the stats

Thursday 14th Nov
Hi, I’m Teresa founder of the Kaipara Lady Riders. Two years ago I started this little group mainly as a feeder to the Litas and a way for me to meet up with local lady riders. The group has grown from a place to chat to now a group of amazing ladies that get together regularly for rides and fun. Now we are also proudly running the Northland Pink Ribbon Ride.
The Northland Pink Ribbon ride began back in 2019. It was started by the Let em Roll Social Riders and Irlene Blakborough. It was their vision to be seen doing good in the community and the PRR became their baby. In the 4 years they ran the ride over 30k was raised for the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ. Only ever having to postpone once in that time due to nasty weather, the ride always went on.
Last year Irlene announced that they may not continue this event, then confirmed a few months ago and what started as me commenting what a shame to Shannon contacting Irlene and seeing what can be done to continue this ride into the future. The rest leads us to here and now.
I’d like the thank you all for coming and supporting this great cause, we have been absolutely blown away by the support we have received from members of the public and from our sponsors.
We, as Kaipara Lady Riders hope to keep this ride going and continue to raise awareness and funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.
I’d like to thank all our fabulous sponsors that have donated time, cash and prizes to this event.
