I'm hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast for the nine women diagnosed with breast cancer each day in New Zealand.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 9 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in NZ die from the disease every year.
I’m hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast this year, because a little over 12 months ago at age 38 and with a 9 month old baby boy, me (and my family) got the shock of our lives when I found out I had breast cancer. It wasn’t in my family… and I definitely wasn’t expecting it. Anything we can do to understand more about this super common cancer and to raise awareness and hopefully save lives is 100% worth it.
Please donate to raise funds for life-saving education, life-changing patient support and ground-breaking medical research. And bring us closer to a day when there are zero deaths from breast cancer.
