Port Otago is proud to support this cause throughout the month of October, as we aim to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Foundation.
We will support this cause through a range of events and initiatives including yoga sessions, education sessions, a bake sale, and merchandise sales.
Our Head of Safety, Ross Buchan has committed to going pink for the month of October in support of the cause, through wearing false lashes and pink painted nails for the whole month. We would love your support to encourage him to keep going for the whole month!
Why are we doing this? Every year 3,500 Kiwis are diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 650 will die.
By fundraising for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, we're helping fund –
- Ground-breaking projects by some of our countries top researchers
- Education about breast health, the importance of regular screening and the signs and symptoms of breast cancer
- Free support services for breast cancer patients and their families
Donate today to help make zero deaths from breast cancer a reality.
