Swamp City Roller Derby is bringing our annual breast cancer research fundraiser back to Te Papaioea / Palmerston North! Join us for The Next Breast Thing – Kēmu Kohikohi Pūtea mo te Mate Ūtaetae, a special roller derby event where skaters from across the North Island will battle it out on the track – all in support of the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ.
🎟 Entry by koha (donation) – every dollar goes directly to support breast cancer research.
💖 This event began in 2017 to support our own maDD honour (Jody Hare) during her breast cancer journey. Now a proud survivor, Jody and our league continue to raise awareness and funds to fight this disease.

cause that affects so many of us.

Every year 3,500 Kiwis are diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 650 will die.
