I’m helping raise vital funds for breast cancer education, research and patient support.

Every year 3,500 Kiwis are diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 650 will die.

By fundraising for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, I’m helping fund –

  1. Ground-breaking projects by some of our countries top researchers
  2. Education about breast health, the importance of regular screening and the signs and symptoms of breast cancer
  3. Free support services for breast cancer patients and their families

This link will take you to part 1 of our wee fundraiser.
Once the pots and bowls are glazed and fired they will be put up for auction on Trademe on the 1st of August.

We had a fantastic time on Sunday making pots with friends.
We will be auctioning them off after they’ve dried and been glazed. 
We are so happy and touched by your donations. Now we just need the kiln gods to play their part with our wild,  thrown creations.

Central Plateau Throwdown

Thursday 27th Jun
Sunday the 30th of June. 1 Wellington and 5 Auckland potters will be setting up their wheels under the majestic backdrop of Mount  Ruapehu.
With our vehicles full of clay vessels, we will return home to trim, glaze and fire them "Pink."
We will then be running an Auction on Trademe to sell them.
All proceeds going to Pink Ribbon fundraiser.
We would like to take this time to thank Botpots (Auckland) and Clay Studios for sponsoring this crazy clay adventure.
