I’m helping raise vital funds for breast cancer education, research and patient support.
In 2022, Dave made a decision to grow his hair long enough to donate it for a wig. It was a gesture inspired by his sister Liz, who was at the start of her battle with breast cancer.
It's now 3 years later and the time has come to cut the hair! Sadly, Liz passed away earlier this year, but her strength, love, and resilience continue to inspire us.
Dave is donating his hair through Freedom Hair. However, there’s always a chance it can’t be used so that's why we’re also raising funds for Breast Cancer Foundation NZ, to ensure something meaningful still comes from this journey.
Every year 3,500 Kiwis are diagnosed with breast cancer, and more than 650 will die.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the perfect time to take action. Your donation will help fund education, early detection, patient support, and life-saving research.
