1st Pink Auction day. Bayleys Canterbury 2/10/25
Thursday 2nd Oct What a fantastic afternoon at Bayleys Canterbury Auctions! 💗 The room was buzzing with support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month – so many proudly dressed in pink, and those who weren’t happily pinned on a ribbon. Out of around 92 people in attendance, nearly half wore a ribbon – an incredible show of solidarity. Add in some fierce bidding and outstanding auction results, and it was a day to remember!I’m so grateful for everyone getting behind this cause. Every ribbon, every donation, every conversation helps make a difference. I’m aiming to raise $1,000 this month – we’ve already made a great start, but with your help we can smash that goal. Pink Auction Thursdays!
Friday 19th Sep This October, I’m shaking things up in the auction room — and turning it pink! Every Thursday (and every day I’m calling auctions), I’ll be suiting up in every shade of pink you can imagine. Hot pink, baby pink, neon pink — you name it. Why? To raise awareness, start conversations, raise funds and I invite and encourage others to join me in standing behind this vital cause.Breast cancer affects us all. Every year, 3,500 Kiwis are diagnosed, and sadly, more than 650 don’t make it. We all know someone who’s faced this battle. By bringing pink into the spotlight of the auction room, I’m using my role to not just sell homes — but to help save lives.
The money we raise will fuel:
✨ Ground-breaking research by New Zealand’s leading scientists.
✨ Education on breast health and the importance of screening.
✨ Free support services for patients and their families.
Together, we can make a difference and push closer to a future with zero deaths from breast cancer.
So let’s turn the Auction room pink.
