I'm hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast for the nine women diagnosed with breast cancer each day in New Zealand.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 9 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.

That’s why I’m hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast this year, to help change that.

Please donate to raise funds for life-saving education, life-changing patient support and ground-breaking medical research. And bring us closer to a day when there are zero deaths from breast cancer.

We now have a great set menu for the day to go along with our Ala Carte menu :) See below.

Set menu option

Two course $55.00 (Choice of either the entrée or dessert + main)

Three course - $65.00

*Includes a 150ml glass of wine or another beverage

Tuna Tataki on a pomegranate, orange and fennel salad, miso sour cream and salmon caviar (GF)

ORA King salmon filet on a raw energy salad, toasted seeds, yuzu dressing and beetroot puree (GF/DF)

Suggested wine match ‘Kir Royale’ Saint Clair Sparkling Rose and Chambord Liquor with strawberry.

Pink Autumn berry and rosewater Mille Feuille with pink peppercorn meringue

About our Luncheon

We raised a grand total of $857.66 last year and we are aiming higher this year. To help us do this we’d love your support again.

 

Our Pink Ribbon Luncheon will be on Friday the 17th of May bookings from 11:30 am, and we will have a special “Pink Set menu” with a $55 2-course or $65 3-course option. Includes a glass of wine or other beverage.

 

Our ala carte menu will also be available.

10% of Lunch sales to be donated to the Pink Ribbon Foundation.

We are also selling Raffle tickets from 11- 2 pm. Currently confirmed 4 Raffles. 100% of Raffle proceeds to be donated. We will announce raffle winners at approx. 2 pm.

Additionally; we have confirmed a Guest Speaker at 1:15 pm– Caro Gatley. Caro has been a fundraiser for over 17 years and a Trustee for 5 years for the Breast Cancer Research Ts (based out of Waikato for NZ) as Caro has seen many clients suffer from breast cancer, some only in their 20s, so the topic is close to her heart.
In April 2016 Caro & Co Insurance Specialists sponsored a well-supported New Zealand Women in Business lunch, which raised $1000 for the Waikato Breast Cancer Trust.
