I'm hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast for the ten women diagnosed with breast cancer each day in New Zealand.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 10 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.

That’s why I’m hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast this year, to help change that.

Please donate to raise funds for life-saving education, life-changing patient support and ground-breaking medical research. And bring us closer to a day when there are zero deaths from breast cancer.

Our Why!

Our beautiful Mama found a lump last year around her birthday and what followed has been nothing short of the hardest journey of our lives as daughters.
A slight twist on your standard Pink Ribbon Breakfast, we are hosting a high tea in honour of our mama turning 60 on May 12th this year. Unable to throw an excessive party for her mere weeks after her first course of radiation following 6rounds of IV Chemo and 2 lunpectomies and in the middle of 6months of oral chemo to fight this wretched bitch, our solution stems from the one of mamas hardest days: 2days post op her first surgery in the thick of recovery & awaiting answers on margins, our brother Liam surprised her at church where she was sitting front row praying for someone else 🥹🥹 to honour & sit with others in support of them while battling a journey none of us could ever deserve, let alone wish on others.
We would like to invite every immediate family member of someone who has journeyed cancer and show off our service skills (coz we got it from our Mama), and invite you to enjoy an afternoon tea with other people who you may or may not know, while reflecting on your own journey & acknowledging the incredible mahi and support available from others, but also BCFNZ.
Ticket costs cover food costs only along with a donation to BCFNZ, and there will be the availability to donate to our goal of $2500 in honour of our mums 60th throughout social media incase you’d like to support us on our journey to support the incredible matriarch who birthed us girls: Aimee, Emma, Taylah and Hannah as well as our brother Liam who has been a rock for us all despite being a dad, husband and business owner that lives out of town. She also is the stepmum of our beautiful sister Mishaela who resides in PN with her husband and children ❤️
