We're hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast for the ten women diagnosed with breast cancer each day in New Zealand.
We come together as women shaped by an all‑girls’ education — a place that taught us to be strong, to lift one another, and to believe in our own potential. We were raised to lead, to persevere, and to show up for others. And yet, breast cancer reminds us of a powerful truth: even the strongest women can be affected.
Our why is rooted in sisterhood. It is about standing shoulder to shoulder with
mothers, daughters, friends, classmates, and colleagues — some who are
fighting, some who are healing, and some who carry silent stories of loss.
Breast cancer does not discriminate; it touches women across generations,
cultures, and communities, including our own.
This Pink Ribbon Breakfast is more than a gathering. It is a collective act of
care. A moment to turn compassion into action, awareness into advocacy, and
community into strength. Together, we honour resilience, amplify hope, and
contribute to a future where early detection and better outcomes are within
reach for every woman. Because when one woman is affected, we are all affected
— and when women stand together, change happens.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 10 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.
That’s why we’re hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast this year, to help change that.
Please donate to raise funds for life-saving education, life-changing patient support and ground-breaking medical research. And bring us closer to a day when there are zero deaths from breast cancer.
