🌸 Mel's Pink Breakfast–In Honour of Jessie Lee 🌸

I was 11 when my beautiful mother, Jessie, was first diagnosed with Breast Cancer. 

I was 17 when she became my guardian angel. 

For six years she battled courageously and I will forever be in awe of her bravery, strength, resilience and love--she never once lost her iconic smile. 

This year, I'll be hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast in her honour--to raise awareness and funds for the life-saving work the Breast Cancer Foundation does on a daily basis. 

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 9 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.

Please donate to raise funds for life-saving education, life-changing patient support and ground-breaking medical research. And bring us closer to a day when there are zero deaths from breast cancer--a day where children won't have to lose their mothers to such a terrifying illness.
