I'm hosting a Pink Ribbon afternoon tea at 2.30 pm Saturday 23rd May for the ten women diagnosed with breast cancer each day in New Zealand.

I am celebrating 2 years since I had a positive outcome and cured of breast cancer ( by surgery and radiation).   Like me 1 in 10 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime and sadly 650 women in Aotearoa, New Zealand  die from breast cancer next year.  Early detection makes a big difference to the outcomes.

That’s why I’m hosting a Pink Ribbon event this year, to help raise funds to improve other womens chances of  being cured.

Please donate - as you are able,  to raise funds for life-saving education, patient support and ground-breaking medical research into new therapies.    I am also grateful to the cancer society, local GPs, and breast care Otago.
