Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. One in nine women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime.
The heartbreaking statistic is that 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year. That’s why we are hosting a Pink Ribbon Morning Tea this year, to help change that.
Tokoroa North School will be hosting a Pink Ribbon Morning Tea on Tuesday 21st May 2024 for staff to raise funds for the the Breast Cancer Foundation. Students at Tokoroa North School will also have an opportunity to bring a gold coin donation to school to contribute towards our fundraising goal as well as wear the colour pink.
Please donate to raise funds for life-saving education, life-changing patient support and ground-breaking medical research. With hope, these donations will bring us closer to a day when there are zero deaths from breast cancer.
This is such a special cause very close to many of our hearts. Any support would be appreciated.
