I'm hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast on 23rd May

Hi, We've hosting again, 23rd May. This isn't the first time we've hosted a pink breakfast, in fact my mother has done this 5 times so she is quite the hostess. Make sure you wear your pinkest outfit, as outrageous or basic as you want. We'll have plenty of food available along with a few drinks and it's a time to get to know one another meeting people you might not have seen before and sharing stories. We'll have QR codes available to make a donation online, just scan one of the posters, or if cash is more your thing that's not a problem, we'll make sure to have a little cash stand available. There will also be pink ribbons for sale that you can wear with pride. We look forward to hosting you for such an important cause, one that has been part of our family. My aunt in the UK was diganosed with breast cancer back in 2012 and it was a tough time for her as she knew what the outcome could have been as her own mother died of breast cancer, but she pulled through. Wore the best hats and scarfs and at the end got the all clear and even ended up getting a new style of hair with the thickest darkest locks that she hadn't had before. So, let's get together have some food, drinks and chitchat all for a good cause. Oh and we'll be lighting the pizza oven, so we we'll make sure we have some pink marshmallows on hand.

Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 10 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.

That’s why I’m hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast this year, to help change that.

Please donate to raise funds for life-saving education, life-changing patient support and ground-breaking medical research. And bring us closer to a day when there are zero deaths from breast cancer.
