3,600 metres a day (3.6km) for the month of May

For the month of May, I'm going to be walking 3,600 metres (3.6km) a day in awareness for the 3,600 people on average, who are a diagnosed each year in New Zealand.

Over the past year and a bit I have had my own personal struggles with my breast health and have needed to access specialist support through Breast Care NZ. I am still needing ongoing appointments and follow ups but the amount of support, advice, resources and advocacy the nurses and doctors have provided has been truly invaluable.

If you are able to, I would love it if you could donate to raise funds for life-saving education, life-changing patient support and ground-breaking medical research. And bring us closer to a day when there are zero deaths from breast cancer.
