I'm hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast for the ten women diagnosed with breast cancer each day in New Zealand.

May is Pink Ribbon Month and the staff at DC Porirua are joining the fight against this horrible disease.
In the first 2 weeks of May we are taking to the streets. Our goal is to walk 650km we have doubled the target to 1300 - in solidarity for the 650 of our loved ones who are taken each year.
In week 3 we are swapping our walking shoes for kitchen and baking up a storm for our Bake-4-a-Cure auction; and,
at the end of week 4, we are closing out with our celebration Pink Ribbon Breakfast.
Why? Breast cancer is the most common cancer in Kiwi women. 1 in 10 women will be diagnosed with it in their lifetime. And 650 women in Aotearoa die from the disease every year.
That’s why we're hosting a Pink Ribbon Breakfast this year, to help change that.
Please donate to raise funds for life-saving education, life-changing patient support and ground-breaking medical research. And bring us closer to a day when there are zero deaths from breast cancer.
